a change of plans

Hi,

This is Mallory. Popping in for a quick update on Linds.

A few things have changed since Lindsey last posted and she wanted you to know -

• She finished with the thoracentesis (fluid on her lung) yesterday. They drained 1.2L in total.

• After the thoracentesis Lindsey texted that “I feel SO much better physically now that the fluid is drained.” Praise God for some relief!

• After discussion with her doctors and surgeon from yesterday, she has decided not to have the port put in quite yet. They are waiting on biopsy results that could indicate she doesn’t need chemo at this time. However, waiting to put the port in will not delay her chemo treatment if that’s the route they need to go.

• She does feel crazy with all the decisions that need to be made surrounding her treatment in addition to regular life tasks, so please pray for her to have both wisdom and energy.
